Two MVI employees have recently achieved recognition by the West Virginia Department of Miner’s Health Safety and Training (WVMHST) as Certified Electrician for Low, Medium, and High Voltage circuits. By passing the West Virginia examination, they will automatically receive recognition by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) as a “Qualified Person” for Surface and Underground electrical installations. The two newly qualified individuals are Tristan Rosier and Brian Shelosky.
Tristan Rosier has been employed by MVI for 4 years. He has quickly increased his skill set to where he is now performing project engineering and PLC programming and HMI work.
Brian Shelosky has been employed for 3 years. Brian has become a valuable worker in our panel shop and out in the field. Recently, Brian also recently completed advanced fiber optic training, and routinely performs fiber optic installation and testing.
With the two new mine certified electricians, MVI can now deploy 14 MSHA and 12 West Virginia electricians. In addition, MVI has 14 West Virginia State Fire Marshall certified electricians – four of which are Master Electricians.
MVI is constantly encouraging and assisting our employees to increase their levels of training and certifications. This greatly benefits the Customer by having only trained and qualified workers on your property.
Congratulations Tristan and Brian!
